Built over the 'dead zone' between the east and west sides of the Berlin Wall, this grassy strip hosts a motley band of sellers and buyers at the weekly daylong Sunday flea market. It's a lively scene in a formerly dead and deadly place.

Apostles

These resilient remnants of limestone cliffs stand stubbornly on the shore even as all around them have fallen to the sea. Echoing all that has washed away in waves. Indelible footprints refusing to be erased by the fast shifting sands.
