Kit Kat Quest
After three years of searching -- ceaselessly scanning the shelves of countless Asian groceries and convenience stores in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and U.S., I achieved my goal of getting my grubby little hands on a Green Tea Kit Kat in the last newstand/gift shop before the boarding gate in Narita Airport. Along the way, my search netted other flavors of Kit Kat: Flan, Muscat of Alexandria, Red Bean, Watermelon, Mixed Berry, Caramel Macchiatto. When will the lowly American Kit Kat rise in rebellion against the tyranny of Original, White Chocolate, Caramel, and limited edition Dark, mint, orange?
